SHRI SAI BABA TEMPLE

On N.H 16, on the bank of "Sairam River", a large lord shirdi sai baba temple is located, which is 2 kms from korutla bus stand. Bus facility and private auto
facility is provided daily from here.
It is known as "SECOND SHIRDI". As it is the largest temple with premises over 20 acres and has good faith of many devotees, and pilgrims. Many people from different places often visit the Temple to offer prayers.

Especially on the very next day of "Dussara" festival, this temple reminds shirdi, by the pilgrims, devotees and people from all over places. On this special day called "SRI SHIRDI SAI BABA PUNYATHITHI" thousands of people visit it. It is a special festival for the people of korutla and villages around it. Devotees wait 3 to 4 hours inline to get the "darshan" on this special day.

In 1980, 6 acers land was taken by the "SAI BAB BAKTHA SAMAJAM" of
Korutla to built a temple. in the beginning it was a small temple which had small marble statue of lord sai baba. Later the present statue was presented by a devotee, which is just one inch lesser than the statue of shirdi.
So far temple organisation has built a library, function hall, dharmashala, dhunishala, quarters for priests, and also administrative building by the funds generated locally and from devotees offers.


KOTI NAVA DURGA TEMPLE

Sri Markandeya mandir was built in the time of Nizam's era in korutla, which is known to be the first temple in the state of Hyderabad built against Nizam rules in 1925. Recently, "KOTINAVADURGA SHIVA MARKANDEYA TEMPLE", was built in same place by "GANESH NAVADURGA MANDALI" by locals' generous donations. It was built on one crore (10 million) photos (pratimas) of Durga Devi. A Shiva Markandeya temple was also built next to it.

Every year on the occasion of dussara (Vijayadashami), temple conducts various programs for 9 days (Durga Navarathri), where the devotees, people from local community offer Prayers.







AYYAPPA TEMPLE

Swami ayyappa and gyana saraswathi temples are located at Allamaiah Gutta. It is known as another shabarimla for local devotees of swami ayyappa.

People performing "AYYAPPA DIKSHA", undertake it here in November-December every year. Every year "AYYAPPA JATARA" is being conducted grandly. Many people of different villages, cities around it participate in this.
