Ayyappa Jatara (Special Festival for Lord Ayyappa) is being grandly celebrated by the community, just 15 or 20days earlier to Makara Sankranthi, at Allamayya Gutta, which is on the way to Vemulawada from Korutla. On this special day people who take “Diksha”, conduct special worship programs from the morning to evening, people of korutla also offer their prayers collectively and participate in different Programs conducted by “Ayyappa, Gyana saraswathi” temple committee, On this day Muslim Religion community conducts water donation camp for Hindu pilgrims, this is highlight of this program, committee also conducts Food Donation Camp.
